Join us for an evening, mini-retreat!
This Ayurvedic Self-Care Workshop will use Ayurveda (Yoga’s sister science) as our guide. We will discover how to come into balance in our body, mind, and spirit so we can emerge refreshed and ready for the winter season.
We will begin with a gentle yoga practice to help focus our minds and prepare our bodies. Then we will begin to explore some key concepts used in Ayurveda to help calm and cleanse your system. You will have the opportunity to personalize your knowledge and receive guidance specific to your lifestyle and diet. You also will receive a pulse reading to further confirm your particular Ayurvedic constitution (and learn what that means!)
We will try out oils and scents for abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-massage) and sample teas and warm mulled juice.
Each person will leave with a sample of homemade ghee as well as easy to follow recipes for nourishing dishes to make at home. The workshop will end with a guided meditation!
